so I ziphoned my friend's phone .......... jailbreak only.. i unplugged it because i thought it was done!

now i cant do anything except hold the power and home button to make it reset.. and it does, and after a bunch of crazy writing the phone just scrolls:

    BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0
    BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0
    BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

over and over again.... what did I do? how can i fix it, thanks in advance!

Post Fixing the 'BSd root: md0, major 2, minor 0' issue
Yeah and ye shall find. n case you didn't, here is the link to a post I did that shows you step by step how to fix the problem.

Let me know if t helps. And no there is no other way to do it other than restoring it. The post listed support for an iPod Touch but it works the same way with an iPhone. Cheers and good hacking.

Same thing happened to me when I was jailbreaking a buddies iPod touch. Restore didn't work so had to take it to the apple store who restored it for me.
