Thread: putjailbreak does nothing

    Default putjailbreak does nothing
    Im stuck on putjailbreak and dont know what to do i have tried 50 or more times and putjailbreak rdisk0s1 /dev/rdisk0s1 does nothing. Please could someone walk me through what im doing wrong?

    it just goes to the next line no pause no nothing

    nothing is good its not going to do any thing on the display do this to see if it worked




    THAT'S IT! You have now achieved read/write access to the root directory of your iPhone (ie. your jailbroked biotch!) Make sure to restart your iPhone for the changes to take effect. To verify everything went smoothly, re-open iPHUC and type or copy the following command:

    getfile /etc/fstab fstab
    Then, check the directory that iphuc-jailbreak.exe is in for the file 'fstab'. Open it and look around for 'rw'. It may have it in there a few times, but nowhere should you see 'ro'. If you do see 'ro', you have probably failed and should try again

    dude, it's a 1k file, so it shouldnt take too long.

    the above posters are right, there is no visual confirmation

    be sure to RESTART YOUR PHONE (i forgot to and was confused as to why after the next step my phone wasnt jailbroken)
