Thread: Undoing Unlocking my iPhone

    Question Undoing Unlocking my iPhone
I got my phone unlocked so I could use the WiFi, and I wasn't planning on used EDGE, but I've changed my mind. Since the mod bypasses the registration or whatever, AT&T doesn't recognize that I have an iPhone on my account, therefore I can't add a data plan. Can I somehow undo it easily?

I guess I can just restore it, but I also read somewhere that you need a new SIM card to use the iPhone, and I have an older Cingular card.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

edit: I restored it, but it still didn't let me authentically register my phone.

Go to ATT store, they'll replace you with a new SIM Card for free...you still have to activate it from itunes after you received the new SIM.
