I'm working on creating an iphone formatted site/webapp for my site (www.hotbutteredrum.net). I'm trying to find a way to dynamically create nav and subnav items based on rss feeds we have from the site.

For example, if you go to www.hotbuttered.net/iphone and go to dates or band > blog, I'd like to have the title of each item create a new nav item/level and then the content appear as text on the page that it navigates to. Essentially, I'd like to parse the item's title into a subnav item that navigates to a page with the content.

I figured that this wouldn't be so hard if only I could find a way to convert the php/rss streams to unordered lists, since the UI is already set up to create the navigation from unordered lists. But I couldn't find a simple way to do this. As it seems that sites have already started doing something similar, I was hoping someone might know of an simple/elegant solution.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!
