    Hi all,

    I got a locked iphone 3gs with os4, I like use it like a phone. lol

    My question is will a att prepay phone sim card work on it?

    Unfortunatly it's unlikely but as I'm in the uk lol I'm not 100% what AT&T is equivalent to here , but as I am aware there is no unlock for the 3GS check your bootloader and baseband

    Yes, your prepaid SIM will unlock it and you can use it. (Your money will drain very quickly though)

    You might as well sell this iphone and get another iphone that has the official carrier or get a factory unlock to solve all this problem, if you just want unlock and don't care about jailbreaking.

    Most prepaid overseas will not work on Data, it will be blocked by the carrier, they only allow voice call, unless you subscribe to a monthly account.
