    Default i have a unlocked (blackra1n) jailbreak (spirit) 3gs 3.1.2 (5.11,07)
    i want to upgrade to 4.0 and keep it unlocked/jailbroken
    is there a possibility yet?

    how about a 3G running on 3.1.2 (5.11.07) thats already been unlocked/jailbroken (blackra1n)

    is there a posibility to upgrade to 4.0 and jailbreak/unlock?

    is there anyway you can point me in the correct way to find how to do this..im getting so many confusing ways and so far none have helped

    jesus you asked the same question twice haha post 1 and post 3.

    then you ignore everything then ask the same thing again in post 5.

    the simple answer is:
    YES YOU CAN UNLOCK 4.0.
    NO YOU CAN'T JAILBREAK 4.0 ON A 3GS... YET.

    To unlock you need to jailbreak. Catch-22.

    where do i ask the same question twice? 1st i asked about the 3GS in post 1
    and then asked about 3G in post 3...in post 5 i was asking for help with the direction of the 3G. so i dont see how i was reposting the same question

    oh shoot. my bad. anyways. for the 3g. i read that you can jailbreak 4.0 with the latest beta redsn0w. then from there you just have to add the repository for ultrasnow in cydia and install it.
