Default Using 1st Gen iPhone in UK
I have a 1st Generation iPhone, recently replaced by a 3Gs. I would like to use the old iPhone in the UK whenever I visit.

While the iPhone is available there (from O2 I believe), is it possible to do something as simple as buy a SIM card from O2 or whoever and install it in the phone. Is there an activation process that will require iTunes etc, are there issues with data plans etc.

Any input would be most welcome.

The first gen can be unlocked to use any carrier - check out iClarified for tutorials.
You don't have to use O2!
