    Default can I activate/unlock a 2g phone without a sim card?
sorry if this is posted elsewhere. but anyone got an answer? thanks in advance!

EDIT (Please read!) these phones are very old and do not have sim cards. Using quickpwn needs you to be on 2.2.1 and I can't restore to 2.2.1 b/c it gives an invalid sim error.

    anyone got anything here?

What firmware are you on now?

These are really old 2g phones. I know they are 1.X but am not entirely sure what exact firmware they are on. they have no simcard and aren't activated. When I try to restore to 2.1 I get an invalid sim error, so am not able to use quickpwn.

    Default activation
im having problems with jailbreaking and unlocking my iphone 2g. I bought it on the internet and am trying to unlock it for t mobile. so i have restored it to 2.2.1 and tried to unlock via quickpwn but it doesnt work. does it have to somehow get activated first before i use quickpwn?
