    Default How is the progress?

I'm holding two iphone with 4.6 boot loader, one is mine and the other is belong to my friend.

Was praying that DEV team could come up something new to break it.

I know there's such modified sim device can be insert into 4.6 bootloader iphone but is reli very very expensive.

Any updates from DEV team on the progress?

Hopefully there is a software out soon.

no there is nothing, and there probably wont be, i would suggest returning the phones and getting your money back and if there is ever a way to unlock just go buy another one but i highly doubt there will be one anytime soon.

There is supposed to be one in 1 or 2 weeks, whenever Apple drops the new firmware.

i keep hearing about this new firmware 1.1.3/1.2 coming out... has there even been an official news release from apple that everyone consistently keeps making these claims?

there's nothing to say that there will be a firmware update and even if there is there's no telling whether or not Apple will do major changes to the new one since the current one has dramatically slowed down the hacktivating community (at least in terms of software)....

these are all speculation and high hopes that people have been creating over the past 2+ months since Apple dropped the 1.1.2 update.

as for right now, everyone has 1 of 3 choices to make:
    1. be patient for a possible software unlock
    2. purchase one of the many hardware hacks floating around
    3. join at&t by choosing a cheap plan and inserting the chip in your jailbroken iphone. that way you should be paying for less than what the iphone packages are asking for
