    "epc.tmobile.com" for the APN

    enter "mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" for the MMSC

leave the proxy and everything else blank and see if it works.

You should use the carrier bundle found in cydia for T-Mobile, just type in T-Mobile, and you should find it. It edits things that you wouldn't be able to normally. After you install it, do a network reset (settings, general, reset, reset network settings) to clear out the old settings.

for any more information check this thread
    http://modmyi.com/forums/t-mobile/65...g-3gs-4-a.html

Its the motherload of MMS information, and theres a specific format to ask questions, you'll find it on that thread. But try to read through it first, theres over a 100 pages, i'm sure someone has had similar issues.

Tried that last week had the sam problem although my tmobile at the top went from T-mobile to t-..... and the signal seems to get really bad (not that that had anything to do with it) but I reset back to normal and it was back to normal. I think this issue is not fixable I have. I see it all over google and there seems to be no fix. Thanks anyways

    Figured it out.

under the cellular data I did the following:

    APN: BLANK
    USERNAME: BLANK
    PASSWORD: BLANK
    MMSC: http://mms.msg.emg.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    MMS PROXY: 216.155.165.50.8080
    MMS MAX MESSAGE SIZE: 1048576
    MMS UA PROF URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

These settings work for me. Able to send and receive on iPhone 3G on 3.1.3

if that doest work, add this repo on Cydia

    sinfuliphonerepo.com

and look for your 3.1.2 bundle

    Easy as pie.

I had the same problem and this made it much easier.
