You will need the minimum voice plan of 29.99 for that. Pre-paid also has texting

I already have Tmobile with a blackberry plan, unlimited internet, email, texting all that plus voice of 500 mins. Would an unlocked iphone work for me with all these features I have?

Yes, it will work with all the features. but if you were getting 3G on your Blackberry you won't get it in the iPhone, EDGE only.
