I know that it's been mentioned/discussed on here that the tmobile prepaid allows free but limited web access including email on jailbroken and unlocked iPhones. For those on a budget, I guess this is a cool thing, but have you ever wondered WHY T-mobile would leave such an obvious backdoor open? I'm not a developer or even very tech savvy, so forgive me if I'm missing the obvious but is this an "intentional" oversight from tmobile or a design flaw? I'm guessing that they have to know somehow that tmobile prepaid users with zero balances are accessing their data plan, but why would they allow this? Should I be worried that they are accessing my data if I access their network? Is it their definition of "community service?"
