Default Need help with 1st Gen iPhone and tmobile unlocking...
allright friend of mine got a 1st gen iphone...
    2.0 firmware...
and she has t-mobile at the moment and wants to use the iphone on tmobile.

are there any good step by step guides on how to unlock on 2.0 with t-mobile?

do i have to restore down to 1.1.4 and unlock there and then upgrade to 2.0?

or can i do a straight unlock on 2.0 using winpwn?

this is on a PC also by the way.

im so used to my at&t and not having to unlock

    so any help is appreciated...

and this is a new 1st gen iphone with 2.0 firmware. not unlocked or anything bone stock.

    thanks!

These are the steps i used
    iClarified - iPhone - How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your 2.0 2G iPhone (Windows)

After you build the custome firmware click ipwner i forgot to do that and kept getting error messages then i realized what i did wrong.

Yup, I used WinPwn 2.0 Guide

That guide worked perfectly for me.
