Just to be clear, Krima, are you saying that IconBundles method themes more instances of the icon than the old summerboard icon folders method did? And more instances than the Bundles method in Anemone?

One of the main reasons I was taught early on to always use the bundles method was it was the way to assure that all instances of the icon would be themed. Is this not the case in Anemone? And do you see it not being the case in Anemone as something CoolStar needs to fix.. or that, for theme creators, their job just got way easier when using Anemone + IconBundles?

With any new products that come out, that attempt to improve upon old norms, there's a potential paradigm shift. I'm wondering if it's possible that with the creation of Anemone (and IconBundles tweak) some things we used to think of as being the best most complete way to prepare themes for WB just simply have to go out the window.

To be clear, Anemone has the IconBundle method built into it so you don't need another tweak to accomplish this Cocco.

What I have found is let's say I'm trying to theme Shazam. Now that's a particularly frustrating icon because it has a free edition and a long icon name. All you need is one 180x180 icon named [email protected] (for 6+ users) and that 1 icon will theme it on your springboard, settings app, and notification.

So what I was asking Cocco is to try this for the messenger app and see if it works.

Great, Krima. I get it.. And that 1 icon (for 6+, [email protected] for my 6) goes in a folder called IconBundles in the root directory of a theme?

Maybe I'm loony here… But this seems like a total game changer for the way theme creators create themes. Even Anemone, with its last couple of bugs, seems to be vastly superior to winterboard if this is how easy it is to create all theme-able icons. Correct me if I'm wrong. No more 28x29, 57x57 nonsense!

That's correct NewD. What I have been doing is all my manually themed icons and alt icons I have been using this method. I don't need to create a bundle folder and then go look at what is the name of the icon and then resize them and include the small ones to theme it. I just need the Bundle ID and that's it. It's fast and it works for all the little icons too.

You can't. Only themes that are packaged all together in Cydia will show up as their own theme. Any theme elements that aren't packaged together as one .deb file from Cydia and any themes transferred to your phone from your computer will appear in the Miscellaneous tab. That's by design - and not going to change any time soon.

Invisible Folders is another tweak that does very little but you can hide the mini grid icons of a folder. Try it out!

Hey man, I just tested Facebook messenger with the theme Sublimity8 using the Normal Bundle method and it themed the notification icon.

Not sure how you have yours setup but this is how they have theirs. -imageuploadedbymodmyi1441217507.388756.jpg

No I haven't used the IconBundle method to have it themed. Just the icons that are in the screenshot I posted.

Also, I gave Coolstar a test theme for the iCloud icons that aren't theming with Anemone so he should take a look and hopefully get that fixed.

This is with the regular 'Bundles' method, Cosmin. So with just enabling the theme in Anemone the NC icon is themed like it is with WinterBoard (I presume).
The theme in my posts is 3 4 All, by Sk37cH.

The numerous versions released, and infinite versatility, beats IconOmatic mods. By quality.
