    I've seen that when I didn't have something sized correctly. I actually was trying to make a image smaller and it became more pixelated. I would have thought the opposite.

    Those bars are looking nice though!

    I believe they will, though Illustrator is the premium option I believe...

    Wow, thanks guys, I managed to theme my statusbar with ThemeEngine!

    One thing that's weird though - I can change the Springboard Assets.car to change the Clock icon, but the Newsstand icon won't budge. I've tried replacing [email protected]~iphone.png and [email protected]~iphone.png, both to no effect :/

    Has anyone managed to change the Newsstand icon and if so, how? Am I looking in the wrong place here?

    I did. Replaced NewsstandIconEnglish~iphone with another. Had to actually replace the Assets.car file rather than place it in a theme and try Winterboard though.

    Same here, Winterboard didn't work unfortunately. Weird thing is, the Clock themes fine, so the .car file must be in order (I guess?). If someone has time to try my Assets.car file and see if it themes Clock and Newsstand on their (retina) iPhone, it would really help me out narrowing down the possible issues. It can be downloaded here.

    I believe the files I used to theme the icons are also fine, cause they are the right size: Clock and Newsstand

    nienque's is 120x120. Isn't it the right size square ?

    There's an option to "Send to photoshop" in ThemeEngine. I did that to check the canvas size and noticed that it was 122x122.

    They will, but it won't fix your pixelation issue much (maybe make it worse). Alex probably remembers my compulsion with PDF's. By the time him and I were testing Clockify hands, I'd moved away from PS.

    Simple explanation:
    If you're saving as a bitmap (flat image) like PNG, then PS is your best bet.

    If you're saving as any form of SVG (scalable vector graphic), like PDF, then Ai is the best bet.

    If you don't believe me, make your image in Ai and save as PDF. Then copy those vector paths to a PS document the same size and do the same (save as PDF).

    Now open both files in a standard PDF viewer (not PS or Ai). Now zoom in.... if you can't tell a difference then there's something wrong. Also check the file sizes

    Cheers.

    I just decided to suck it up and submit my themes w/ those images in the Assets.car. Too many people keep asking for an update so I'm giving it to them!

    Hopefully, we'll find a better way to do this in the future but for now I'm fine.

    I'm fairly desperate!! I have Classicbadge installed and I have created a custom SB badge and I've edited my info.plist with the following:

    <dict>
    <key>BadgeStyle</key>
    <string>padding-bottom: 3px;font-family: Helvetica;font-weight: bold;font-size: 12px;color:rgba(255,255,255,1);text-shadow:rgba(0,0,0,1) 0px 1px 0px;</string>
    </dict>

    This for 2 reasons:
    1.) To centre the number within the notification badge
    2.) To give the number a shadow and therefore depth

    My issue is the parameters laid out in the plist don't consistently apply to the notifications number. It's completely random changing all the time from properly themed to some or other default (I assume one laid on within the Classicbadge app itself).

    Cannot begin to tell you how frustrating it is!!

    If anyone has some suggestions I would really appreciate them.

    TIA

    See image, Tapatalk is how I intended the number to appear and Gmail shows the style it reverts to.

    Is anyone working on Iconomatic? Checked the dev's Twitter, he last posted in July and had some real life problems.

    I think, I'm not positive though, that you just need to do a little adjusting of the image sizes if you're on a 6+. Works fine straight away on the 6.

    Anyone know where the calculator.app images are located? Also There's a small change In the app. It seems the numbers now change with every font and are not part of the background.

    Ok, I figured out what happened: the original image that I drag-and-drop is 120x120, but once it's dragged into ThemeEngine, it becomes 122x122. When you open it in Photoshop, you'll notice it has a 1x wide transparent border. Not sure why ThemeEngine does this or how to prevent it from happening. I think I'll just look into the Iconbundles method.
