    Isn't there an option to colorize the status bar in springtomize? I'm pretty sure there is.

    Forgive me if this has been asked, but has anyone gotten customcolor to work on iOS8? I'm trying to change icon label colors and you're supposed to install customcolor and enable it in winterboard, then access it's preferences in the settings app but when I attempt to do that it says, "There was an error loading the preference panel for Customcolor." I used iCleaner to attempt a fix but no go.

  6. #1364
    MagicColor can do this. Also, HideMe8 has that option is the SpringBoard section.

    I understand!
    LOL

    Installed Tinch.
    Does it not work with eclipse?

    That dude ignores everyone pisses me off. iOS 7 eclipse was buggy but at least it colored about everything..
    Tableview is broke, no separator lines and blue highlight when pressed.
    Safari NAVBAR and loading bar at top is broke.
    Mail icons and New mail indicators don't color anymore.

    Tintch worx w/ Eclipse. The signal bars, using EKGSignals, does not work w/ Eclipse while inside an app.

    I assumed that it was broke cause eclipse 2 is goofy.
    Didn't have Cydia libcolorpicker installed ATM.

    Works great dude-

    I wish that we didnt have to directly edit the resources of a tweak. I dont know why the devs cant just include their icons in a *.bundle, with the appropriate plist file. its not difficult to do, from what i understand.. i think xcode does it all for you, essentially. Not a huge deal, but would be nice if we could get these themed using solely winterboard methods
    Yeah, I sent a developer a question about that and never got a response.

    I could always just send the .plist via dropbox or something so they can include it in their next update.

    Is there a way to theme the native app icons in Settings?

    I've been able to theme a bunch of them, but I recall having to export an .artwork file and recompline with new icons in iOS7.

    Is this still a working method? Or how is it done in iP6+/iOS8?

    Winterboard should take care of this, now

    I can list what goes into these folders if you need me to.
    yeah the reason i thought it didnt have bundles is because i couldnt find them, and the icons I found were loosely in the /PrefereceLoader/Preferences folder, named [email protected][email protected]. where normally (from my limited experience) I would see these in *.bundle folder with an info.plist, usually located at /PreferenceBundles

    How do you know if a tweak "has a folder in Preferences"? i dont know what youre referring to by "Preferences", sorry
    er, wait.. you mean inside /PreferenceLoader/Preferences/ ?? yeah.. I have two tweaks with folders in there, IconTool/ and CrashReporter/
    But I also have 5 tweaks who DONT have a folder there, but rather just have loose icons.. those are the tweaks that I have been doing all the moving and creating bundles for.. So for the loose icons, those are the loose icons in your com.Preferences.settings/ directory?

    I dont follow.. which info.plist are u referring to? the same one you are saying to put in the com.Preferences.settings/ directory?

    Kinda...

    The Info.plist needs to be in:
    /Library/PreferenceBundles/Preferences/TheTweak'sFolder.bundle

    In your theme, place your icons in:
    .../Theme/YourTheme.theme/com.WhateverNameYouChose For.thebundleID (eg. com.tweakname.preferences)

    If a tweak has a PreferenceBundle folder but there's a folder inside that:
    (eg. /Library/PreferenceBundles/Preferences/TheTweak'sFolder.bundle/anotherfolder)

    Then you'll add that folder name to your theme.
    (eg. com.tweakname.preferences/anotherfolder)

    yeah head over to the .Artwork theming thread and weve been talking a lot about it recently.. this, from my understanding, is mostly for other UI elements, not so much the icons in Settings app. But, w.r.t. Settings app icons, most of those are themed by just using the various bundle IDs for the whichever app youre wanting to theme (itunes, mobileSMS, etc). For things like Privacy, iCloud, etc. those are all themed using 'com.apple.Preferences'
    To get the icon names, really I just use a complete theme, like Elite8/zoobhoy as a template. We (over in the .Artwork thread) are in the process of trying to put together a complete template for modders/themers to use, but it wont be finished for a few weeks i would imagine.. maybe longer

    How?? I've added icons to my theme and the ones in the settings app haven't changed.

    NOTE: I am theming icons coming from Preferences.app (Settings)

    Yes, in Library/PreferenceLoader/Preferences, add an Info.plist with the following information

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>
    <string>com.Preferences.Settings</string>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    Make a folder named com.Preferences.Settings. Copy all the images from PreferenceLoader/Preferences into that folder. Theme the icons, keeping the same name.

    Put the com.Preferences.Settings folder in yourtheme.theme/Bundles.

    If the tweak has a folder in PreferenceLoader/Preferences like MultiIconMoverPlus for example. Copy that folder and add it in com.Preferences.Settings folder, keeping just the icons. Theme those icons keeping the name the same. Like in the pics below.

    MultiIconMoverPlus folder in PreferenceLoader/Preferences.

    Copy it to com.Preferences.Settings folder

    Keep just the icon images. Theme them and keep name the same.

    If I didn't explain it good enough , PM me and I'll be happy to help you out.

    Sorry for the loooong post everyone!!
