I have always made .gif's into backgrounds for my iPhone. I would apply them in winterboard and the world would be in balance In iOS 6 that is.... Then Apple made me force update to iOS 7 or my iPhone would not function. I was wondering, although winterboard kinda works, and substrate has been "fixed", there is still the respring bug, which prevents Cydia apps/tweaks from applying changes through a respring. My question is, can you manually go into the root and cover/replace the background area of the iPhone with a .gif? Should I use the folder where you put a .htm file and a .gif file to activate a background in winterboard? What about the lock screen?
