No issues so far. A lot that isn't theming but that's iOS7.

What problems are you having with the syslog? Its a life saver imo.

Ah ok. Well when I ran sys view with debugging on in WB ages ago it never logged the calculator images. I would pretty much kill all syslogs generated then start a new one and open the calculator & press the keypads but never seen the image names appear.

Unless I was doing something wrong (more than likely)

If you close calculator completely then open it, it will log them. Must be closed first. There is only a few, not like old calculator so you may have over looked them. I restored last night, but I'll download and post the log soon.

Ok cool June, yuh I thought u might have had to restore after reading your tweets.

Do the names here in 7.0 beta 1 calculator app (before they were later compiled as an Asset.car in subsequent betas) match how u have themed it?

Some may be correct, but the pressed are not colored at all. + - * ect are all one image.

Nice work June. I'm going to try this out.

FYI Guys I worked out all the image offsets for the Settings icons for iOS6.

Basically the byte range is between 16384 - 16400 bytes for each image.
Total bytes of 523378. There is 32 distinct blocks of data & null padding when viewed overall.

Here is a s/s of the image 1 with the null padding before image 2 starts at the byte offset 16400.

    ImageUploadedByModMyi1392764259.145191.jpg

Image 1 should be [email protected] &
    Image 2 [email protected].

The original JSON file I made was pretty close but a few hundreds bytes out here & there. I believe I have the image offsets identified correctly to the bit!

Match_stic built a wee tool so hopefully we can start extracting the specific bytes we are after...

    Gibber gibber, gibber gibber!

But better than any old jibber jabber right?

Yes it all comes down to the bits & bytes! I'm excited to output the data from the image offsets as described.

Will still need to be converted into image data hence why Dave used the PIL (Python Imaging Library) to build the images from the data read.

I think I may tackle the dial pad next. There are a lot of number images in the mobilephone folder, though. Which leads me to my next question:

Are there multiple dial pads for the phone app? Is there a lockscreen-specific dial pad for when the phone is locked?

I'm not 100% sure. It'd be nice if we could theme the passcode on the lockscreen but I haven't seen it done yet.

I themed my lockscreen dialpad (in first few pages of posts this thread) but like dsg sed; it affected my dialer, so I backed off. Not the main dialer, but the number pad/dialer for in call button pushing. I just added xnsparent images for the buttons.

I meant passcode dialpad, but my work computer fails whenever I try to edit.

    Settings [email protected] file Update
Guys i cracked it!! here is the AppStore icon extracted from the [email protected]k file! 16400 bytes as calculated, im yet to build a full script but as u can see the AppStore icon is beautifully presented! I took a screenshot of the CMD window (with errors) and the "Corners_Black.png" As the "AppStore" png...Im hella stoked! i worked out 4bytes equalled 1 pixel, im hoping i can put the script together that will at least extract the icons...
    Super stoked.

Little update, have pulled out 8pngs and have the extractor tool working beautifully! i expected "[email protected]" after "[email protected]" but "[email protected]" altho it was called "[email protected]" was extracted first...it might be at the end after the UpperCase icons! Hopefully I can get all of the iOS6 iconCache file done tomorrow then work on the iOS7 version. Pretty sure I have it all sorted...except recompiling at this stage

Edit: just realised the last image is called [email protected] instead of [email protected] Will have to update the JSON. Which is a painstakingly slow process... ><
