Sounds corrupted, u didnt export/import the AppIconMask png?

iFunbox damages the "png-24" component if exported/imported & essentially the iOS displays a black square.

If u did use iFunbox to muck around with this just open the png in PS & "save as" then select "png-24"

I use iFunbox BUT when dealing with AppIconMasks I email the ZIP of the AppIconMasks to myself & extract via iFile.

YES u could use a whole host of SSH clients but I don't.

Not sure that is your issue but sounds rather similar all the same.

No that isn't the case. It was the original which I renamed, and after testing I decided I wanted the mask back I renamed it back. However I did try a fresh file. Which didn't work out either. Either way. All was done with iFile so no SSH or other devices handled the files.

Yes it is. It is very illogical. I expect in the end it was some very little thing that got in the way. As it often is with these kind problems.

Oh also I noticed that since this problem the applists missing the icons and reappear while scrolling trough them. Lists like the preferences. The small icons are square too.

    That sounds like the TableIconMask

Something else I noticed from your list is that you're missing 4 DefaultIcon...pngs and the DefaultStarkCanvasIcon.png!?!?

    Where did those go???

I checked, DefaultStarkCanvasIcon.png is there but indeed, no DefaultIcon...
I am checking now, the TableIconMask looks exactly like the AppIconMask, a black Icon.

And those DefaultIcon... Files you mentioned, what are those??

TableIconMask is for the Settings icons displayed so that would be the Preferences one yes. Default icons are if there is no icon png present.

    It shouldn't be these.

U havent changed the permissions on the MobileIcons folder? Sounds like its being disregarded?

Oh yes the defaultIcons I can remember those, i just found them in a iblankfolder. iBlanks moves them so it can make transparant icons. Maybe iBlank is in the way.

No I haven't changed the permissions on the folder. I did a test with the permissions on the AppIconMask, but changed them back

This is the full list of the folder, except for the iblank folder which backed up the DefaultIcons.

Table icons where? Mine are disappearing only in Settings/Privacy/Location Services. Funny thing is that if I select to toggle on or off, they appear for any toggle that can be viewed within the filled screen. If I scroll down to the next toggle which does not have an icon appearing, I can toggle it on and those icons will appear from there to the bottom of the screen and so on. If I scroll back up, the toggle icons will disappear again. Strange to say the least.

Edit: Forgot to mention, this was happening prior to iBlank

Odd. I just restored default icons in iBlank and resprung- all good.
The behavior you describe is EXACTLY what I was experiencing.
    Uninstalling now.

    Solved it for me.

Dang it. I could have sworn it was doing this prior to iBlank. Now I will have to see for myself. I'm wondering if one could just put back the default icon that corresponds to the table icon size if it would bork iBlank? I may try that and see what blows up

    Ok done testing.
    Deinstalled iBlank
    Put DefaultIcons back in MobileIcons.framework
    Run fsWipeCache
Blank icons are still blank; not broken due to DefaultIcons: I guess they are only important when making iBlanks

Still, table not fixed and AppIconMask not fixed.

    Frustrating, these troubles are.
