Yes, just deinstall Dockshift and use TransparentDock instead, it seems to automatically clear the specific cache for that line and does its job perfectly. It is also a very simple tweak which is always good imo since you will collect more and more over time

No - it's not just you - it's there... But it says right in the preference window - that if you choose "transparent" you must Respring to get rid of the thin blurred line. I have no such line now after a respring. Perfectly transparent.

Dock Shift gives so many more options than TransparentDock. That's why I prefer DockShift.

Question. I am reading all over forums about this 120x120 and how its the new size. I themed using iconbundles method and used all my old downloaded 118x120 and it has been working fine since JB released. If all are 118x120 and are theming fine is that gonna cause potential problems in future? Or why is it working for me and not others?

The old icons will work from some themes... Other apps, like stock icons for Photos, etc.. may not theme for you unless they're the new size. Things are sketchy now. But Jato and some other more experienced than I with the manual theming can give you a more complete answer. Right now Winterboard is working in a very limited way on non-A7 devices. Enjoy that you don't have to look at those iOS7 icons all the time. Those of us on 5S are stuck -- unless we want to manually theme every icon. Not impossible.. But time-consuming.. I'm gonna dive in today.. since the snow here in Eastern US has closed down a lot of things. I get a free day to play with my 5S..

I see. I can tell you 118x120 elite 6 icons look as they always have. No distortion. And i am able the theme all icons that i have tried. I always have and will hide some that i dont bother to theme: newstand, stocks, contacts, game center... Also now hide the clock as I use control center to access it

So you're talking about all 'manual theming' for elite 6? Or is Winterboard involved?

Winterboard. iPhone 5. I have used both summer board mode and the iconbundles method with success.. Currently using the iconbundles method. Now that is only icons and nothing else.

Yes. Winterboard can only do icons at this point. On my 4S - I had to also take out any info.plist and UIImages folders from the theme -- or it sent my phone into SafeMode. I'm on 5S now.. so only option for me is manual theming. That's where the issue of 120x120 comes into play with iOS7... Using 118x120 when manual theming within the Application folder itself.

I see.. That's makes more sense. I'm doing icons only without any plist. Thanks for the info.

I have gotten a lot of my apps to theme with the Bundles method. A lot of icon names have changed so just changing the icon name in the bundle seems to have worked for me.

What is the bundle name for iCleaner Pro and also the correct icon name for IOS7?

  23. #294
Best way to figure it out is -

    Download App Info from Cydia
Use that to determine the bundle name
    Then, click "open in iFile"
Search within the folder for the system icons. A lot of new ones have been changed to "Icon-120.png" or "[email protected]" etc.

That's what I do. Seems to be the best way if you wanna theme with the bundles method.

Icon names, as with prev iOS versions, have a standard, and like above post mentions it's variable. I'd be shy on the icleaner for now.

    Related question,
Manual theming icons. Love Reeder's default iOS7 icon.
But, it's using the 114 icon.
I altered the info.plist in the app, changing the CFBundleIcons and CFBundleIconFiles strings, changing every listing of icon-114.png to icon-120.png and cleared the icon cache. I even changed the name of icon-114.png and inserted a new icon-114.png which is a duplicate of icon-120.png renamed.

    Still this:ImageUploadedByModMyi1388778455.587133.jpg

    So....wtf?

I posted a lot of extra information in the iOS6 thread concerning identifying the bundle IDs for apps/tweaks & also determining icon names.

It goes into more depth than the 7X thread as as it stands it builds on the knowledge shared from that thread here
    https://modmyi.com/forums/skinning-themes-discussion/817877-ios6x-theme-guide.html

If you get a chance have a bit of a look thru it. But essentially all AppInfo & most of us do is look at each app/tweaks "info.plist". That is the key to a lot of information for themeing.

Bundle IDs, icon names, Bundle Display name etc.

Do you find the plist retains the updated info or reverts back to how the iOS expects to see it? I've found that modding the plist ends up working for a split second then is altered to how the iOS would expect to see it

Checked. The .plist is as I left it...but also, there is no longer an 114x144 sized icon named icon-114, I renamed a copy of icon-120 to icon-114. So even if it did.
I suppose I could leave the renamed icon and return the .plist to its original state, but I have a feeling it's something else.
    Something....SPOOKY.....

(Themer horror story....the unknown UI conflict...ahhhhhhhhh)

Is there a 120x120px icon png in there? By default that ships with the app?

Thanks to you guys, Ive gotten the manual icon changing down. Now I cant figure out how to make/name zep files so that its in color like it is when i make it. It is always white or black and looks like its colored on top of the shape.

Hey there guys. Pardon my ignorance please. I've kinda dropped out of the JB loop for awhile. I'd like to theme the SMS screen, calculator and phone dialer. Are only the core files still extracted by the .car extractor? Are there existing themes I can get the names and sizes I need from? Are these themes possible yet? I've looked through a few threads and googled a few things but no real luck.

I also have a few animated gif wallpapers I'd like to get working if I could. They have a gif file and a url file pointing to the gif. I know basically how they work but I don't know why they don't in IOS7. (never tried 6) Appreciate any help at all.
