Here is what I have been using. It was shared by Schnedi at one time.

Yeah.. I'm embarrassed to say that even with the amount of raw coding from scratch I can do now - I was wondering why my word clock was all black and left justified when I added it to another SB widget..

Still not sure why having a higher z-index for the Animation HTML in King's original isn't hiding the word clock.. I could only make the WC appear in my other widget when I made the z-index of the WordClock.html a HIGHer number than the animation html. Weird.

The only reason I rarely use word clocks anymore is that I can't bear not having "a" clock show when I'm in my apps. To make Schnedi's WC look right on the SB you have to hide the status bar clock. But then you have no clock in your apps. Anyone know a way around that conundrum?

Try out HideHomeTime in Cydia. I've been using it for awhile now, and it works great. Will hide the clock on SB, but will show when you are in apps. I think that is what you are looking for.

It works in the widget I modded for Boots because the wordclock is above the animated weather. When I say above, I mean vertically, not in depth. The animated weather by default has a black background that I had to disable to allow the wallpaper to show. If you are placing your wordclock into the animated weather, then it will be covered unless you either eliminate the background or place layers like this:

    background on z-index 1
    Wordclock on z-index 2
    Ani weather on z-index 3

    Hope this helps!

OK, I need a little help here. Are you after the top picture in your post above?

So basically AniWeather with a word clock/date and some kind of background? Is the background a static image, slide show, weather walls, etc?

I'd like to just make a new one from scratch, as this is well, um...

AniWeather w/ WordClock and a Static background. Currently I'm using vWallpaper so I'd like the weather and word clock to be displayed over the animated wallpaper.

That sounds like a lot of work, though. Don't worry about it, bro! Thanx for the offer!!!

Hello Mr. King, question please. How would I go about putting a space between the hour and minute on the WC? I thought I knew, but was incorrect.
    Thanks for all the help!

    Add: + " "

    Eg.
    document.getElementById("hours").firstChild.nodeVa lue = currentTimeString + " ";

Perfect, Teddy! That's exactly the tweak I needed!

It wasn't much work starting over. Your files had a lot of unused bloat in them. I condensed the word clock/date into 1 html file and the animated weather that I used is very clean too. The only thing that I'm not sure of is if it will run on top of vWallpaper. I've never used it and I'm not sure what you would have to do special. Let me know if it covers it and I can research it.
It does need my WidgetWeather tweak to pick up the weather conditions based on your location.
