    U dont want to jack your JB with unknown tweaks. SpringBoard doesn't play nicely with tweak conflicts. E.g safe modes with SpringBoard crashing.

    That tweak looks like it was designed for iOS 5 from the screenshots of the UI posted in Cydia.

    CCToggles FTW! And it worx(?!) w/ Auxo 2, now. There's still some bugs between the two but your device will be stable enough to use.

    It's just that I love making icons and use to have this installed and had cool icons for them and wanted to recreate that again

    I've heard from some that it does work with Auxo 2. But I never run any switcher mods, as iOS 7 has all I need. Had nothing but trouble with Auxo on iOS 6, never tried on iOS 7. I honestly just don't see the need for it, too little gain for too much to loose.

    +1

    Auxo 2 is crossing over in terms of Control Center & AppSwitcher which IMO is potential for some pretty BIG issues. I've stayed away from it too! I'm sure Apple will implement Auxo 2 features in iOS8!

    Auxo was a big hype about nothing for me. Never saw the appeal.. And buggy as hell in 6.. But some people just raved about it.. Each to his own!

    Would you be able to point me to how I can adapt my solution for IOS6 to IOS7 or which resources I should look at to change the recording bar?

    Got challenged on Twitter about the "Touch ID" & "Passcode" icons in 7.1 and how they display on the 5S.

    As most of you know, the 7.1 iconCache file includes two NEW icons/pngs "Touch ID" & "Passcode"

    Since my 5S isnt on 7.1 I wasnt too sure how those two new icons were being displayed, apparently the "Touch ID" icon is used for
    the one section titled "Touch ID & Passcode"

    So I went digging, I heard about guys doing this on REDDIT but as I dont hang out on there I thought id take a look myself.

    Turns out all you need is: a 7.1 [email protected]k file & that's it really...Works with Or without WB too

    Now I have been recompiling a few iconCache .artwork files to 7.1 specs in case a 7.1 JB is released (saves me doing it twice!), looks like you wont need to wait that long if you want to see the "Touch ID" and "Passcode" icons/pngs on your 7.0.X jailbroken iDevice.

    Here's a few pics of my 4S displaying firstly how the Touch ID & Passcode should be shown on the 5S & then secondly split out into their own
    sections.

    -img_0064.png

    -img_0065.png

    To actually apply the change all I did was add these two sections into my "Settings.plist" in the Preferences.app (/var/stash/Applications). If you are going to do the same
    MAKE SURE YOU BACK IT UP!

    Ive posted a pic of the "text/code" I added to my "Settings.plist" to then show the "TouchID" Passcode" icons as two sections, if you only want
    one section only add one but change the "string" to Touch ID & Passcode.

    -touchid_mod.png

    Or here is the code here...REMEMBER back up ya "Settings.plist" ***FIRST***

    <dict>
    <key>cell</key>
    <string>PSLinkCell</string>
    <key>detail</key>
    <string></string>
    <key>iconCache</key>
    <string>TouchID</string>
    <key>label</key>
    <string>Touch ID</string>
    </dict>
    <dict>
    <key>cell</key>
    <string>PSLinkCell</string>
    <key>detail</key>
    <string></string>
    <key>iconCache</key>
    <string>Passcode</string>
    <key>label</key>
    <string>Passcode</string>
    </dict>

    CCToggles is themeable look here:

    /Library/Application Support/CCToggles

    after you've installed it

    Edit: there are some icons in:

    System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

    I was never a fan of Auxo until now, either. I'm kinda diggin it!!! It has some features that appealed to me in this version so I figured I'd try it out.

    @Jato
    So your little tutorial adds the TouchID/Passcode menu to the Settings.app? If so, does it also remove it from the General section?

    Lastly, is this something I would apply via Winterboard or directly on my device? I assume the latter but thought I'd ask before I dove in!

    Auxo 2 is amazing. It's not just about having a different switcher, it's about having a more intuitive slide up gesture for the switcher. Plus, it adds a new feature called quick switcher, that to me, is one of the main selling points of the tweak.

    What's the specific feature, Thaz, that got added in this version of Auxo? Can't tell from your screenie. Looks like the same one from iOS 6.

    Ok so, if u slide up from the bottom left and hold, it allows u to just slide across and select your running apps. This is a very fluid and natural way to call the switcher and select your app. It's absolutely brilliant.

    Here is a screenshot. I have had no issues with this tweak and I have a lot on my phone, including several beta tweaks so I think that's a good sign.

    What Krima said plus I like the 'display last app used' feature, back to Homescreen feature, and the Music.app swipe controls.

    Ah - okay- that indeed is quite a step up.. IOS6 version wasn't all that different than the regular switcher. Just had a big picture of each app.. Not much more.. And so buggy and a huge ram leak.

    So it's a happy camper with other Apps in 7? Zero crashing? Zero ram efficiency problems? Free upgrade from iOS 6 version or buy again?

    EDITED:

    OKAY! You're right, guys. This is a MAJOR step up.. I do INDEED like the new implementation of it - especially how it's integrated right into Control Center. That's a strength and weakness - only in that - there's no way to get OUT of the Control Center by swiping top to bottom as with normal CC. You have to pick an app in the Switcher (or the SB itself) or clik on Home button.. But I suppose just clicking on the SB in the Auxo switcher is even less of a key stroke than swiping down to close CC.

    All in all a very nice upgrade indeed. NOW - it's useful to me - as long as I don't start to see speeding up animations (evidence of RAM leak) or any crashing. I'm a little frustrated he made us PAY again for it.. But many devs have been doing that..

    I don't have an issue with the upgrade price because it wasn't a port of Auxo, it was a completely new tweak. NewD, I haven't noticed any slowdown or animation issues since installing this tweak. I even have Cylinder installed that adds animations to your SB, which In the past caused the animation issue, and all is good.

    Krima, can you still use CCLoader / CCToggles, or does it have it's own icons? Can it be themed, like background and sliders?

    You can use CCToggles w/ it and theme those toggles like you normally would. I'm not sure about the other Auxo-specific elements, though.

    Yeah.. So far, so good here too. All seems solid. Found out that the 'mixed mode' with Control Center can be turned off if you wish.. Think I like it!!

    Though i can't agree it's a 'whole new tweak'. It's an 'updated tweak for iOS7 with a couple new features'.. But that's how the devs have been substantiating their reason to charge us again. My point is - between iOS5 and iOS6 there were tweaks with 'as many' new features added in the iOS6 version (as Auxo has added) and we weren't charged again. That's the point. Auxo 2 is not a 'complete new tweak' as I look at its features.

    But $1.99 just isn't something that matters to my bank book.. so happy to 'donate'.

    King - you really should try this 'afresh'.. It's 'updated' functionality is really quite useful..!!

    Hi there! Question, if you don't mind? I am running Auxo 2, along with having SmartClose(activator set for Lock Phone,) and was wondering if you were running both or not? What sucks about SmartClose, is the task switcher is always empty. It still pulls the app up fast, but I have to go back to the home screen to access it. Just wanting to know if you were using SmartClose as well. Thank you!
