Thread: Changing "Slide to Unlock" font

Default Changing "Slide to Unlock" font
Is there away to change the font of the lock labels? I know I can change the system fonts with fontswap/bytafont but I want to change specifically the lock label's font for my theme. Can I apply any styling to springboard.plist or how would I go about this? BTW, the font I want to use is a non-ios font. Thanks for your help!

Not that I know of. It's either change the font system wide which as you pointed out isn't ideal or you stick with the default iOS font.

From my brief experimentation, there is one font that can change the "slide to unlock" font that won't change the rest of the system font, but it is the same font shared by the calendar icon and app, part of the weather app (it uses several fonts that all look the same for one display screen, go figure!) and the lock screen clock I believe. I'm not sure which one it is as there are quite a few fonts used by the system but what you are looking to do, if you don't mind changing your calendar and weather fonts, is possible.

I wish specific customization like that was more frequent.
