So the first three icons are phone, settings, and contact? Well to replace these, make your icons for those three and then give them the same exact name as the default ones (example: name the phone icon "Phone.png"), save them to an icon subdirectory in your theme folder in var/stash/themes. Make sure the theme is enabled in Winterboard then respring.

That's what I meant, but thanks for clearing it up anyway if it sounded confusing.

  11. #8
Looks like he doesn't really know the file structure to the iPhone itself

Do you at least have Winterboard installed?

    Do you SSH installed?

Do you have a WIFI network you can sit and transfer files on?

Do you own a Mac or Windows?

What operating system does your PC have running?(Windows Xp, Win 7, Mac 10.3, Mac 10.5???)

Exactly you should had placed it in

    var/stash/Theme.xxx/Mytheme/Icons/

I told you this early in the thread

If you have an iPhone 4 then you will need to name it [email protected] instead of Winterboard.png and realize that the @2x rakes a larger then 60x60 and shrinks it so don't shrink it yourself

    Please thank me on site

Maybe it has it's own folder whenever going through with folders. Look through something like folder icons, might be text to change to false or pictures. I wouldn't know, its just my guess. I actually want to learn to make this stuff.

    There is an alternative

    var/stash/Theme.xxx/Mytheme/Folders/APP NAME/icon.png

When I say APP NAME like Winterboard.app or App Store.app or iTunes.app, it must contain the .app extension

To find the correct names and extensions simply go to var/stash/Applications and find your Folder to duplicate the name from there, also if you open it up then you can see if it will let you use HD icon, some cydia lies won't let you, it will be named icon.png or [email protected] (HD)

Please thank me on site as this is the backdoor always working fix

This solution is the Winterboard mode, the solution with the icons folder is Summerboard and slower

If it doesn't work you have to use the Bundles folder

See Pic, files inside remain the same

    Please thank me on site
