Default iPhone icons won't change after applying themes
    Hello to the forum,

I'm facing an annoying problem with a stubborn icon (to be more specific the Phone icon.png) which is not changing after applying any theme (WinterBoard or SummerBoard) on my jbkd iPhone 3G(s) with iOS 4.0 on it!
I think, I tried almost everything.
    - I read everywhere in the www (forums, etc.) but with no lack at all.
    - I tried iPhonefixpng --> no lack (just in case themes icons where not properly fixed on the theme)
    - I tried to change manually Phone icon with SSH (WinSCP) changing, renaming the Phone icon --> no lack

PS: You see there is a small problem that the phone icon located in the MobilePhone.app directory (inside Applications) is named icon.png and all the other stock icons are also named icon.png

As a conclusion, I believe that there is a problem to me renaming the Phone icon on the theme (any theme I'm using), to icon.png because nothing happened and also not to rename icon.png (in the MobilePhone.app dir) to Phone.png because also nothing happened.

That happens with any theme and only with the phone and ...maybe the SMS icons !!!

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanx in advance

In your theme folder you should have a Bundles folder and inside the Bundles folder there should be a folder named com.apple.mobilephone and in that folder is where your icon.png should go or be in

    Themename/Bundles/com.apple.mobilephone

No no ignore what that guy said before me. No offense.

Just open winterboard and enable Summerboard Mode.

Viola. Fixed. Had this problem before.

You are my new favorite person! I was having the same problem for like 4 months now. No one has suggested that, and it worked like a charm. If i could give you a six pack, I would!

    Guys, guys...
    don't be hurry...

If the problem was just enabling SummerBoard, believe me, I knew what to do for that.

Things here are NOT so simple...
I'm talking about some of the stock icons that won't change !!!
(like Phone, SMS, Photos, Camera, Stocks, Maps, Weather, Notes, Settings, Clock, Compass)
All the other icons are changing depending on theme...

Let's try once more... to resolve it!

    Thank you in advance.

    Found Solution by myself...!!!

You might don't believe it !
The problem is in the Language you choose to operate your (the) iPhone...
    Mine was Greek...
I do not know what happened...but when I changed the language to English everything worked for me like a charm !

So, themes need to make their icons (save the png's) to the language preferred to operate with the iPhone...
I had only English language pngs.

Thank you all for the participation...
    Cheers,
and happy jbking 4ever after !

SMS is hardly EVER in themes. But others might be missing others. Have you looked in your iPhone ssh files?
