    Default 1.1.1 screen....very cool!
I just figured this out, very easy to do but to think of it ...

this is for anyone (like me) who loves the ordinary 1.1.1 screen....

simply install "Launcher" from installer, use the newest customize to put 5 icons on the dock, and include the launcher in the middle...
now hide all of your 3rd party apps and reboot or respring...
what you have left is the ordinary 1.1.1 screen except for the launcher in the bottom middle...

NOTE: of course you could also put the launcher after ipod, but i prefer it this way...

NOTE: if you place it in the springboard (not dock), the itunes icons will not be in the last postion...

oh and just to tell u...
if u dont use wifi music store, its better to hide itunes and to unhide installer...
itll still be in the same postion, but because there is no installer in the launcher (this way u cant access installer!!), this is much better use...

another picture attached (with my b&w theme :P)

Or.. you could leave it as a 4 button dock, leave the launcher on the primary springboard screen, but make it hidden by default.

For some reason, the Launcher does not list the Installer as one of its apps. So I am using Xlaunch instead.

I think better idea is to ditch the launcher and use app called Dock instead.. it does not take any icon space & everything is available to launch with just a slide of a thumb. So everything remains as it is..

I share your opinion, the more apps you have, the more clogs the screen, and you have to have pin point accuracy to get the app you want.
