Default Guide: Make a Maps Icon Specific to your Area
I have been playing around with the maps icon trying to get it to look as stock as possible but with a highway from my home city, so i found out a simple and effective way to do that. This is what mine looks like:

    1. Open the city you want in the Maps app on your iphone and find the highway marker or whatever area you want to use (If you want the drop pin, if your on 1.1.3+, just use the purple one and later make it red in photoshop)

    2. Zoom in a little bit to the size that you like and take a screenshot using whatever method you use.

    3. Then upload that image to your computer and open it in photoshop. Cut out a section that you want to use and create a new image thats 60x60 and copy your original selection to the new 60x60 one. Then use this tutorial here to make it rounded like the iphone icons.

    4. Rename it icon.png or Maps.png for summerboard, ssh it into your iphone and enjoy.

Ill post pictures to go along with this later i just thought I would post the text now for anyone who would like to try it

    Default Autobahn sign map icon
Custom map icon for you guys. This one is with an Autobahn sign... for those without Interstate highways!

SSH it into /var/stash/applications/maps.app as icon.png and enjoy!
