Thread: Paid removal of ads

    Default Paid removal of ads
I'm using the modmyi app on my iPhone and I specifically paid for the removal of ads, why am I seeing them again?
If you need to charge a subscription for the removal of ads I understand but don't tell me I can pay to have them permanently removed then bring them back...

Did you try to delete the app, clear cache and than reinstall it again?

I would suggest clear cache first (within the app), then delete and reinstall.

Thanks for the responses, however it would seem that with the new update to the MMi app that the feature has been removed entirely.
The option does not even exist in the new version (or I just can't find it.)
Also the app has been removed from the appstore, had to download from my PC to get it back.

I think it's kinda crappy to get someone to pay for ad removal then throw the ads right back at them..
    again, thanks for the responses.

It's in "Settings" within the app.

I found it there originally in the previous versions, however it has since disappeared with the new versions

    Sync it back through iTunes.

You can try CacheClearer from Cydia. It might help.

Tried all suggestions, no luck it's funny though, my iPad does not get ads, while my iPhone does gets ads.
I'm signed in on both. iPad doesn't get ads even if I'm not signed in.
Any other suggestions? Is it possible that the remove ads feature was removed like I said before?

    Ad example:

Not sure why you have this issue. You could try a Cydia paid tweak called AdBlocker 2, but that bothers me that you'd have to go to that extreme.
Hopefully someone else will chime in and help out.

I'll make sure it's not there in the next version - maybe something got checked that wasn't supposed to on the last build. It's definitely not supposed to have ads.
