    Default Easiest method for ringtones?
I've been thumbing through the pages, and have gotten pretty much confused. I have an iPhone that has installer.app installed, and that's it. I'll download ssh on there soon. What methods for ringtones are there? drag/drop with ssh[fugu]? iBrickr for pc? What do i need to do to the phone, or details on how to make ringtones...

    thanks in advance..
    Bobby

easiest would be using iPhoneringtonemaker....it's $10 bucks i think..no need to jailbreak your phone. The trial version lets you do 3 ringtones..i did it..worked great. Never bought the app though.

Default Free method to load ringtones onto the iPhone.
There is another method in which you can do this for free.

Depending on the OS you use you need one of the following programs:

    Windows- iBrickr.

    Mac OSX - IFuntastic

do a google search and you can easily find downloads for each app.

Just plug your iphone into the computer and start the program, you can easily upload any song that you have in your itunes library (bought, ripped, 3rd party dld- it doesnt matter!)

The songs will load onto your phone and can be found with all the other ringtones. (These load as-is, meaning the full length of the song)

You will need another program if you wish to edit the length, or point in the song that you use as a ringtone. There are many programs out there that allow you to do this.
