Default .m4a to .m4r on OSX?
I've updated to 1.1.1 and now I can't upload via iNdependence or Fugu my ringtones. If I upload them in .m4a they appear but don't play, so I need to convert them to .m4r I've tried just changing the extension but doesn't work that way it seems. How does one put custom ringtones on a jailbroken and ulocked 1.1.1 iPhone? Thanks.

as far as i know, 1.1.1 makes adding custom ringtones more difficult.
    here is a guide:

if you update to 1.1.2 though, it's as easy as changing the file extensions again,
might be worth it. there are some other features with 1.1.2 that are good.

oops apparently i'm behind the times.
    sorry! thanks broomhead.

    NO problem
I use Garageband to cut the song down and start them at the point where I want them to. Most song intro's last to long

I use Sound Studio to edit the songs; will try Garageband, though.
