    Default Is this Normal???
OK, I just used redsn0w to jailbreak my phone. I now have cydia installed, phone works, but when I go to check the version of my phone it still says 3.1.3, even though I used the 3.1.2 ipsw file as directed in the instructions...

So, here's my question: I have Cydia on my phone, it is jailbroken, right? If yes, is it normal to see the 3.1.3 on my phone?

    Weird.

    thanks!

I just installed the MyWi app on the aforementioned iPhone and went to lunch and enjoyed the use of my iPad utilizing the wireless!

    Sweet!

Your phone is in fact on 3.1.3 - the jailbreak tool just needs some files from the 3.1.2 .ipsw. It doesn't change the firmware of your phone.
