Default Help on unlocking iPhone 3g again
    Hi,

I just recently purchased an unactivated at&t sim card so that I could follow the guide listed here: http://modmyi.com/forums/t-mobile/64...n-working.html to get push notifications working on my iphone 3G. The guide says that I need to restore in itunes. Currently itunes is set to update to 3.1; im on windows and I dont believe there is a redsnow 3.1 jailbreak release for windows as of yet and I don't have a mac. Is there anyway I can restore using itunes and return back to 3.0?

Thanks for any help or advice.

yeah download the 3.0 .ipsw from iCommunity - Jailbreak information at a glance (be sure to be not using safari)

then hold shift when you hit restore in itunes, it will ask you select which file you would like to restore from, find and open the 3.0 file you downloaded, and your done.
The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

Safari tries to un-zip, may be a problem.
