    anyways...
    1) Yes use redsn0w.
    2) Yes, just restore in iTunes
    3) Yes, you can still use your iPod exactly like you did before, only more.
    4) Yes, it's stable, but even if it's not, it's VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY hard to brick or permanently damage your iPod (a restore will fix it probably 99.99999999999999% of the time)
    5) uhh.. new firmware releases will undo your jailbreak
    I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

    I've jail-broken my cellphone twice and its worth it.... the first time I did it I only wanted the cycorder since I have a 3G..but the second time I realized there is so many other things you can do with a jail-broken iPhone that Apple itself will never let you do...

    If I were you I'll try it and if you don't like it, asangiepangie said, there is nothing a simple Restore couldn't fix

    Yes it's untethered. It's been untethered for a while now.
