Thread: stuck in waiting to reboot

    Exclamation stuck in waiting to reboot
    my computer hasnt done anything since waiting to reboot screen popped up. When trying to install the apple software for the device driver it says i need a cd, which i dont have. i dont know what to do it wont leave this mode. is there a website where i can download the software?

    im on windows vista by the way

    it's asking for a driver simply because u don't have a software called Apple Mobile Device Support. I'm not sure if you can install that manually as it normally comes together with iTunesSetup. Try installing the newest iTunes, then plug your iphone in (without redsnow running). It might say found new hardware, just wait for it to do its stuffs.

    Run redsnow after than, it might once again say found new hardware again (that's because computer detects the DFU mode of the iphone). at this point redsnow MIGHT fail. just restart the process you will be ok.
