    Default Jailbroke, no icy...what's up?
    Hey everyone,
I JB my iPhone 3G last week but when I used redsnow, icy didn't install. Did I miss something?

did you put a check by it when you were jailbreaking? If you have Cydia, you should be able to get it from there.

Why did you use redsn0w if you had already jailbroken? I assume you had 3.0 JB installed already.

I realized what I did. I started with the Apple 3.0 Software. I used the Apple 3.0 software when I used redsnow, which redsnow, in turn, used that to JB the phone (automatically) installing Cydia, but not ICY. I have used PWNage to create custom firmware with Cydia and Icy, DFU'd, used iTunes to restore with custom software and we'll see where I'm at. I am wondering if Redsnow is still needed once I have completed from this step or if I can go directly to Cydia/Icy to install Ultrasn0w?
