Thread: Trouble jailbreaking 3g 2.2.1

    Default Trouble jailbreaking 3g 2.2.1
I downloaded the apple info " iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore " and I get this error when trying to unzip " The path '2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore' does not exist or is not a directory."

I also get an error when trying to run QuickPwn
"QuickPwn.exe - NET Framework Initialization Error" it says I need to install v2.0.50727 of the .NET Framework.

I downloaded both of the files from this site following a step by step instruction post.

I have an Iphone 8g 3g 2.2.1 and am running windows.

Any help explaining what I have done wrong would be great.

Id do a Windows update manually, and look in optional updates and install the updated NET frameworks.

As far as your Firmware file, it sounds like you downloaded it as a zip file? If so it looks like its trying to unzip it to a directory that doesn't exist. If the extension is ipsw you dont need to do anything with the file.

Here is another tutorial that may help.
