    Default WinPwn 2.0.0.4 Root partition resize ?
    I have a question what does the Root partition resize do in winpwn 2.4 I have no idea what it does and if I change it from the stock setting will it be better for the Iphone? any info on how to use this setting or when to use it will be very helpful thanks

    it incrased the partition size. you need to use 520mb atleast if you have a 2G and want to include cydia and installer in the custom ipsw

    I used 700mb on 1 & 1000mb on the 2 custom f/w.

    what's the advantage of making it 520 vs 700 vs 1000? isn't it best to make it as small as possible (520mb) so the remaining room can be used for media?

    Depending on how you use the phone... I think the apps get stored in the main partiton as well, which is seperated from your "media"... so if you make it too small you might limit yourself. I'm sure someoen will re-write the program to move those apps to the other partition but still.

    It's kinda situtation. Just make it at least 512mb, I made my 1000mb.. I dont really use my phone for "media"...
