    Default What to do?
    Hello everyone,

I was adding a source in cydia when my iphone locked up. I powered down and powered back up. When my device came back online i noticed all my cydia community sources and sources i have added were gone, "not the application just sources." I thought by restoring my iphone, it would allow me to just do the jailbreak process all over. Boy was i wrong. What happened instead was I accedently upgraded to 4.1 from my original 4.0.1 software on my iphone 3gs. As it stands right now im not having any issues with my iphone. Everything seems to work as advertised i am just unable to jailbreak. Is there any thing i can do to re-jailbreak. I do understand that there is a jailbreak in progress for the 4.1 software. If there is anything i can do to re- jailbreak or downgrade my software i would appreciate the input. Thanks

You can try and downgrade to 4.0.1 ipsw
Run Notepad as Admin , open up hosts file and add this line :
    74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
save it and reboots your pc
Now do the Shift + Restore 4.0.1 ipsw
If successful, put your official sim to activate and
go to jailbreakme 2.0 from Safari on your iphone.
