    Hi can i jailbreak my iphone using spirit my iphone is unlocked by apple ? help please cheers

    depends on your iPhone model and firmware but generally, yes you can.

    Yes, spirit works on all models of idevices on firmwares 3.1.2 or 3.1.3.

    Default not working
    every time i use spirit it shows me

    INFO: Now listening for devices...

    INFO: read igor/map.plist

    INFO: Connected to the AppleMobileDevice.

    INFO: Version iPhone2,1_3.1.3

    INFO: Connecting to mobilebackup...

    INFO: Sending files via AFC.

    FATAL(__LINE__): Assertion failed (dl.c:198): 0 == (AMDeviceStartService(dev, service, &it, NULL)) (but it was -402653091)

    my pc is in windows7 and i phone is 16gb 3gs on 3.1.3 . any help ?

    Did you put Spirit.exe in Windows 98 compatibility mode before you run it?
