    Chino and Skrew,
I am having the same issue with "Error at Step 08" when opening "Ringtones" app on the iPhone, after exiting the error, I am able to see songs to convert and it looks as if they convert, but they do not show up in the "Ringtones" section of the app. Any help would be great.
    Thank you for your help.

connect to your iphone with ssh and (in root user) type :
    find / -name 'Motorcycle.m4r'
    and give me results here
i have "Error in Step08" too.

    Code:
    # find / -name 'Motorcycle.m4r'
    /Library/Ringtones/Motorcycle.m4r

I had the problem with the no sound, but since i have that patched mecca file, after i convert the song i want, i launch the finder.app and navigate to my ringtones folder and rename the file i made to have a space after it and it works perfectly.

    so before:
    ringtone.m4r

    and after:
    ringtone .m4r

Great work, I just tryed it and it works perfectly now

Something I would like to see though, is the ability to toggle the artists name when you convert the song, i personally just like having the song name as the ringtone not both the song and the artist.

    Example:

normally it would come out like this:
    artist-song .m4r

if you could have like a toggle for the artists name so it would turn out like this:
    song .m4r

    that would be great.

"Warning! If the final result is not the desired one, first activate 'Use wav' and restart the conversion. In fact, if the mp3 is encoded in vbr, a precise cutting is not possible. This operation requires more time and more memory space!"
