The volume in my recordings is pretty low... is this a problem with cycorder itself?

  3. #283
Why is it that cycorder works on some 2.1 iPhones but not mine?
Installed from cydia also, can't seem to find a solution.

When hitting record it goes back to the homescreen with a symbol saying "REC" on the icon, but nothing gets recorded at all.

it may not be ready for 2.1, im on 2.0.2 and its fine just wish i could upload tem to youtube i guess ill have to stick with flixwagon for that though

It works perfectly on my iPhone running 2.1....Maybe you get conflicts using other apps?
Like Kate, I don't know if Kate causes problems for Cycorder, but I DO know that it causes/caused a lot of problems for other apps...

I'm not using kate or anything, though I'm not sure what would conflict with it.

Any specific permissions for certain files?

I have the entire folder and subfiles at 775, it launches to the point where i can see the viewfinder, but once I hit record it jumps to springboard and a "rec" label just stays on top of the app.

    Default crash and "rec"

    Default Cycorder App...
Wen you say "No Sound" what exactly are you referring to? I've had this app since it came out and I have been able to record sound along with the video! I love this app...

The newly released iPhone Video Recorder version 3.0 supports on-the-fly recording to mov file with the video quality improved dramatically.
    Try it:

Yes, I just gave it a try and it failed to upload to YouTube, just a fail message - no clues, and crashed while encoding so I uninstalled after the 3rd crash.

If Cycorder sorted the sound issue when uploaded to YouTube it would meet all of my needs and I'd jailbreak my 3G for it.

For now I'll just play with it on the 2G.

I did like the old version of this, and I'm happy to pay for software but I feel $19.99 is too expensive for something I'll use every month or so just for kicks (it'll never replace a full blooded video camera).

Maybe you need to have a Christmas sale!

    Regards

Most of my videos are sideways, I'm playing them w/quicktime, is there any way to rotate them?

  19. #299
I love this App and i've been using it for a while. In my opinion its the best Video Recorder available. Now if we could just send them by email... hmmmmmm

  20. #300
In case anyone wants to email their Cycorder videos to themselves, there is a way. Using MobileFinder, copy the videos to /(root), then use MobileFinder to email them. The videos cant be too big or Finder will crash, but its a pretty easy work around. I might be able to make a guide about it soon...
