I hope you all enjoy this great app, I know I do, and lets all try to make this place a more positive place!!

That's exactly right. Up to this point, the updates have contained anything particularly compelling for me.

thanks for you support! In nearest future will be nice updates so better to use Installer for don't miss update
iLeks, nice work on this app! Thanks for the great contribution. I have one suggestion for a future update. You currently have the ability to group by missed, received and dialed. How about adding an All category, so you can see all calls to, from and missed by a given contact? That way, if your tracing who called who last, etc. its all on one screen rather than several.

Thanks again for the great work!

for the ppl that wont upgrade to 1.1.1 stop asking to make it compatible to 1.0.2 make it easier for them so they dont have to make adjustments just b/c your stubborn and wont upgrade.. =) have a nice day

    I working currently on it
Just if somebody interesting next version will include (in about one week):
    - Log screen of all network activities (calls + sms)
    - Localization
    - App will work as "daemon" -> means after exit and back you will be in the same screen.
    - Some bug fixing
    For future versions planned:
    - Duration statistic (all incoming, outcoming, by monthes, etc...)
    - Filters for Log screen (by contact name, by type, by date)
    - Missed calls notifier (vibro)
    - Own database for history (for don't have limit in 100 calls and don't overload iPhone recents db)
    Let's see

The call log doesn't work with 1.1.3 but the SMS log does. Hope you can make it work completely with fw 1.1.3.

    Thanks!

Didn't bother to read the first 3 pages, but using this on 1.1.1 (1.1.3? Bah, fuggadaboutit!) and it looks GREAT! Needs more development, of course, but this does look like it's a suitable upgrade/engancement/replacement for WeTool.

Would like to see the phone #s formatted correctly, hopefully that's part of the next version. Guess we'll wait and see.

how did you get it to work or even show up on the spring board for 1.1.3. I have it installed but its not showing up.

It would be great if the developer could modify for 1.1.3, which does have its issues, but its the way of the future......

Hi you have to change the permissions, I use the following:
    chmod 4755 /Application/iLog.app
    chmod 4755 /Application/iLog.app/iLog
    chmod 0644 /Application/*.png
    chmod 0644 /Application/info.plist
    chmod 0755 /Application/*.lproj
    chmod 0644 /Application/ru.lproj/Localizable.strings
    chmod 0644 /Application/Russian.lproj/Localizable.strings
    chmod 0644 /Application/English.lproj/Localizable.strings
    chown -R root:wheel /Application/iLog.app

After that, reboot and it shows and runs; however, it doesn't show any call, so give it a try if you like but it's not worthy

    Regards,

    Regards,
there is a error on last line, must be Applications , in plural, not singular...
    chown -R root:wheel /Applications/iLog.app

i made this and it worked great on 1.1.3
    chmod -R 775 /Applications/iLog.app

Exit out and SSH into the phone.

    Execture the following commands:
    mkdir /var/root/Library/CallHistory
    ln -s /private/var/mobile/Library/CallHistory/call_history.db /var/root/Library/CallHistory/call_history.db
    mkdir /var/root/Library/SMS
    ln -s /var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db /var/root/Library/SMS/sms.db

Navigate to the iLog dir and execute the following commands.

    chmod a+rx iLog
    chown root iLog
    chmod +s iLog

This lets iLog run as root and fixes the problems of it not being able to alter the call log.

i had the same problem after installing not seeing the app...
you have to connect with e.g. Filezilla or Cyberduck and go to Application and get up an Info-window/file attributes and set file permissions to 777

EDIT: the app starts just fine, but is no info on any calls in there...

I thanked you for this tip I couldn't find a file info-windows... so I did chmod -R 777 Applications/iLog.app - reboot the phone, and I can now see the application and use it.

Tatesman - I thanked you too for your information - very handy.

It now logs the call all right but it dosen't log the sms.

    I tried this:

    mkdir /var/root/Library/SMS
    ln -s /private/var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db /var/root/Library/SMS/sms.db

    but it dosen't work

    Any ideas?
