Thread: VPN saving the password?

  1. #1
    Default VPN saving the password?
The VPN functionality on the ipod touch 2g is great. But is it possible to have the it simply save the password instead of asking me every time I connect to the VPN?

Configure the VPN client by going to 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Network' > 'VPN' > 'Settings' and type your password in there. After typing your password on the settings page and selecting 'Save' turn the VPN client to 'On'. This should connect you automatically.

Well the password box is labeled "Ask Every Time" and I can't seem to enter any text in it (it won't allow me to select the box).

And when I re-enter all the VPN settings, although it allows me to enter text into the Password box, the box does not get saved.
