Thread: replacement nes controller images

  1. #1
Lightbulb replacement nes controller images is great, and i love playing metroid on the bus, but i'm a stickler for crisp graphics, and the included console didn't quite do it for me. though my changes are subtle, i recreated the console images in illustrator. they may not be identical to the real life controller, but you're using an iphone so get over it! these images are extra crisp, and look great in all three views. landscape extended, landscape and portrait.

    to install:

    1. navigate to: /Applications/ on the iphone
    2. backup the default images
    3. download and decompress the replacement images
    4. upload the replacements
    5. fire up and enjoy!

for those stuck on that first step, i use sftp to do all my file transfers, there's tons of information on that here at modmyi. search around.

looks sharp... are the a and b buttons still on top of each other in landscape? I'm guessing there is no way around that eh?

you should contact Nate True and turn the graphic over to him ...have him (or nevergas/whoever) to add is to the NES app
