    Default Problem taking screenshots
I was getting ready to take a screen shot of my phone to give some props to the new iLauncher designer and the prado theme designer, but I went to take the shot and got this error. Anyone have any ideas what it means? I am about a 2 or 3 out of 10 when it comes to computer problems, and this is beyond me. Thanks in advance.

Running summerboard? I had this problem as well and read somewhere the iPhone doesn't like more than one non-springboard app running in the background.

I am getting the same problem. I used screenshot earlier though to take pics of summerboard. Maybe the most recent update did something.

it also doesn't work with dock 2.0

for some reason most springboard replacements make it so that the screenshot util doesn't work

It's caused by Dock 2.0, not Springboard.

i have seen quite a few screenshots of dock 2.0...this is a curious bug in of of the latest apps though. I'm leaning towards summerboard + dock 2.0 being the problem. one of the developers should know what the "unknownpurpleapp" call is.

    The problem is, indeed, Dock.

Use UIctl to unload it from memory or get the latest Dock, which uses my screen shot code.

Install the newest Dock 2.06, it has a screenshot icon added to the menu.

having the same problem! . . . hear the shutter tone but don't find the pictures in my Camera Roll

maybe uninstalling and reinstalling it may help? I'll try right now

I've uninstalled/reinstalled twice. I've even had a few pics in the camera roll (which works for some people). It still doesn't add the screenshots to the camera roll.

It was working yesterday, but just stopped working for no reason.

By the way, where is Dock located on the iPhone? I can't find it in the Applications folder, nor anywhere else.

If you're talking about Dock image, They are in

    If you have DockSwap, var/root/library/dockswap/

I'm afraid I don't see any apps in bin. No .png for screenshot or anything.
