    Default MobileFinder Permissions 1.1.3 DevTeam
MobileFinder has access to the root directory, but does not have permission to delete, move files, etc... Does anyone know what I can do far Finder to have read/write access to the root directory?

Has no one else encountered this problem? Anyhelp is greatly appreciated.

This fixed it for me on 114:

    From the googlecode site:

It has come to my attention that file operations in the system portion of the filesystem don't work on 1.1.3 and later due to access restrictions (I use 1.1.2, so I'm a bit behind). I will attempt to address this in MobileFinder 1.9. Until then, issuing the following commands in terminal or via an ssh client fixes the problem:

    chmod 4755 /Applications/Finder.app/Finder
    chmod 4755 /bin/cat /bin/chmod /usr/bin/chown /bin/cp /bin/ls
    chmod 4755 /bin/mkdir /bin/mv /bin/rm /bin/rmdir /bin/unlink

The only error I got was with the last command -
chmod: cannot access `/bin/unlink': No such file or directory

so I just ran the command again wihout the "/bin/unlink" part.

I also added the following to get the app to save its prefs properly:

    chmod 4755 /mobile/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.MobileFinder.plist

    Thank you jrentzke

    "chmod 4755 /mobile/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.MobileFinder.plist"

add "/var" in the front of this directory.

    chmod 4755 /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.MobileFinder.plist
