Default Help: Changing the Wireless Carrier Banner
    Here's my situation,

I have a modded iphone, using the Rogers Wireless network in Canada.
I want to be able to customize the carrier name in the top banner on my iphone.

    1) I tried using Customize to change it. result nothing. Except when I went to the US and my phone changed networks and the carrier banner I selected on Customize showed up.

I'm hoping I can do this by myself but I am quite "new" to this whole modding thing but I did manage to get gpSPhone with games on my iphone.

    2) Can this be done using WinSCP??

If anyone can provide a walkthrough hopefully very thorough.

    Thanks in advance

yeah I looked a bit deeper into it, and got MakeItMine, that works fine, but what I want is different font etc.,

I read a "walkthrough" and decided against following it as it does not specify what to do for v1.1.1, since a lot of responses have said that there springboard has crashed due to altering files.

    Default Winscp
I figured i would just add on to this thread... i am making a theme for my ipod using winscp, is there a way to change the carrier words without one of the ipod apps. I would like to use the winscp.
