    Default /var/logs/CrashReporter listing

I was browsing thru using WinSCP and saw many many .plist files created in this folder. My question is: can I delete all the plist file in the CrashReporter folder? How does this file created? and does it serve any purpose at all?

I believe they are synced by iTunes and can be sent to Apple - do you get a message asking to send information to Apple when you sync?

Yup, you can delete them without fear. Any time one of your programs crash it will create a log with the reason. If you know how to decipher them, they can be handy. Otherwise they just take up space. Mac OSX and other Unix systems use similar functionality.
