Thread: Problem with Customize

    Default Problem with Customize
I haven't seen this posted elsewhere, so I hope someone can help. I managed to hide my customize icon on my phone, so now i can't get into it anymore. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still no icon. Does anyone know how I can "unhide" it without having to completely reset my phone? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you still have the Installer icon? If so, go to "System" and download "Dock". It will be a little starburst on the bottom right hand corner of your phone. Run your finger over it and it will launch all your apps. Once you see Customize, stop, and it will open.

LOL! Glad to help. My advice, keep Dock installed on your phone, you never know when it may come in handy!

even the hidden programs can be run from the shell! ssh into your iPhone and type:

    /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

runs Customize... you see lots of debugging info, none is interesting!

you quit with a control-c (not the button on the iPhone)

Control-C? With Windows, that didnt work. I just shut off my phone, and that fixed it.

I guess on your windows program you need to press a different key to send the control-c across to the iPhone...

but shutting it off does the same with a little less grace!
