    Default SNES Permissions
Alright, so I was digging around in my phone in SSH a little trying to figure out how to fix my "snes4iphone.app" to save games. Does anyone know what the permissions should be?

They're at "0777" right now, but there are places I've seen that have told me they should be set to "777". Is that the same thing? Should they be at something else? Help FTW? Thanks.

There are two other threads on this topic on the same page, just named gpSPhone, same solution though.

Set the ROM folder and all the ROMs to 0777

Cheezy: Thanks. I'll give that a try.

Dale: I know, I've seen them and tried them, but nothing works... Thanks, though.

    •Your ROMs should be in
var/mobile/Media/ROMs not private/var/mobile/Media/ROMs or anything like that
•Be aware of CaPiTAl letters when typing commands, or they won't work

Now, try chown -R mobile var/mobile/Media/ROMs

Is there a way to make the screen bigger on the non-landscape view? And is there any way to get volume at all?

On the screen, no, I don't think so, and for the volume, no, there's no way to get sound yet.

Dale: Thanks, broha, but I've tried that before and it doesn't work. This must be some easy fix that I'm just missing. I'm going to SSH in and check all the permissions again.

EDIT: Okay, so I went and changed the "Octal" Permissions on all the SNES games, but still nothing.

Dale, as previously mentioned, I used that code before and it worked fine, but now in Terminal it gives me "Cannot access /var/mobile/Media/ROMs. No such file or directory." There is clearly a directory for it, however... I have no idea what to do now.

On a side-note, sorry for the double. My apologies.

    EDIT: Automerged triple FTW?

Wow, I'm an idiot. I finally figured out that I hadn't changed the permissions on the actual SNES ROMs folder yet... Thanks for all your help, everyone. It works now!
